Hot Yoga

So lately I have been trying out hot yoga (moksha yoga) and I love it. People told me that I would sweat, but I really had no idea until I got there. However, that's part of what makes the experience so incredible. So far I have been doing the 60 minute sessions, but eventually I would like to move up to 75 and 90 minutes.

The experience is challenging both mentally and physically. When the body is under stress we go into fight or flight and sometimes stop breathing. Part of hot yoga is focusing on the breath - sometimes that means just making sure you have air going in and out of your lungs.
